S.i. Systems' Telecommunication client is looking for a Senior Payroll Analyst to provide time and related payroll expertise and guidance to 24,000 internal team members across Canada.


This is a Remote 6-month contract opportunity - open to candidates across Canada. (37.5 hours/week)


MUST HAVE:

  • 5+ years of experience with Time and Payroll, preferably working on both federally and provincially regulated Canadian payrolls
  • Strong experience with Success Factors and SAP Time and Payroll systems
  • Knowledge and awareness of all areas within HR, especially operational in nature
  • Knowledge of Canada Labour Code and Employment Standards, rules and laws
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources and/or an equivalent combination of payroll and benefits education and experience
  • Strong Excel and Google Sheets experience


NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience working in a unionized environment
  • Bilingual in English and French, both written and oral
  • PCP/CPM, HRPA designation


Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of superior team member experiences - providing time and related payroll expertise and guidance to all stakeholders
  • Closure of the gap between system and people - being the business process expert of the various time processes they own and tools used
  • Collaboration and leadership as a senior member within the Time and Payroll portfolio and broader P&C Operations team responsible for managing a team members lifecycle
  • A mindset of innovation and continuous improvement - challenging the status quo and implementing process improvements
  • Ownership of a time administration network across the organization - including education and continuous improvement based on Payroll best practices
  • Integrity of overall data through audits, automation, and a relentless focus on safeguarding the quality of work
