Senior PowerBuilder Developer to work on application code updates and actively support PowerBuilder version upgrades.

Our Client currently is looking for a Senior Developer to provide application development for new development and approved enhancements, maintenance of resolution of defects, and support services for the Agencies legacy core granting systems.

Tasks, but not limited to;

• Providing application development (new development and approved enhancements), maintenance (resolution of defects) and support services for the Agencies legacy core granting systems.
• Reviewing documented business requirements, change requests and/or defect logs.
• Consulting and coordinating with other internal groups as necessary to deliver on assigned tasks and associated commitments.
• Preparing technical document, commenting updates in source code.
• Participating in code reviews.
• Participating in team meetings and knowledge sharing sessions.
• Providing knowledge transfer to team members regarding the use; installation; customization; evaluation; and troubleshooting of the legacy granting applications.

Must have:

• 10+ years as a developer
• A post secondary degree or Diploma related to IT
• 2+ years working within the public sector
• 4+ years working with PowerBuilder V12
• 1 Year working with Sybase EA Server
