Senior Program Manager responsible for overseeing and driving the successful execution of multiple cybersecurity programs, ensuring best practices are followed across all phases of implementation and operation.

Location: Waterloo or Toronto

Permanent Role

This role involves leading programs in critical areas such as Infrastructure Security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Security Operations, and Cyber Security best practices, including EXR/XDR/SOAR technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex cybersecurity programs with a focus on cloud security, infrastructure security, and risk management.
• Drive the integration of security best practices, from IAM to data protection and end-to-end security.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and management of security operations and incident response protocols, including using EXR, XDR, and SOAR platforms.
• Ensure alignment with corporate risk management frameworks, ensuring security policies and procedures are maintained and adapted as necessary.
• Develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders in engineering, IT, and risk management teams to ensure alignment on cybersecurity initiatives.
• Define and report on cybersecurity program KPIs and ensure successful delivery on security milestones and objectives.

Must Haves:

• 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Program Management or related roles.
• Strong background in Cybersecurity, including cloud security, infrastructure security, risk management, and information security.
• Expertise with security tools and technologies including IAM, EXR, XDR, SOAR, and security operations.
• P&C Insurance experience

Nice to Haves:

• Certification in Cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar) is highly desirable.
• Experience with Cloud Security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with agile or DevSecOps methodologies.
