Our valued Public Sector Client is looking for a Senior Programmer/Software Developer to provide support for their Lessons Learned System.


Our client requires a contractor to support and continue the development of the current Defence Lessons Learned System (DLLS) application, and to implement, update, configure and perform bug fixes.


Responsibilities:

  • Program system features within the concepts and patterns already established.
  • Review existing software requirements and issues and advise on best solutions.
  • Identify complex technical problems within the DLLS and recommend solutions.
  • Provide support to users by responding to client inquiries.
  • Analyze and verify software/code against known requirements.
  • Fix current bugs and enhance code.
  • Architect a solution to improve performance of the system.
  • Design, code, and configure methods to deploy applications on Canadian Forces (CF) networks.
  • Diagnose causes of software or hardware problems and advise the Technical Authority.
  • Setup, maintain and manage servers, database servers and application servers on unclassified and classified networks.
  • Setup, maintain and manage the Azure DevOps development.
  • Prepare regression testing documentation for user requirements.
  • Regularly perform application upgrades.
