Senior Project Manager to assist in creating and delivery of a project plan focusing on Business Intelligence solutions

Our public-sector client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to assist in creating and delivery of a project plan focusing on Business Intelligence solutions

Calgary based client. Candidates will be required to be in-office when needed (hybrid)

Must have:

• 8+ years of Project Management experience, focusing on Business Intelligence Solutions (Power BI and Tableau)
• Experience creating a Project Plan to complete a pilot program and migration plans of IT solutions
• Experience with a focus on integration with existing systems or custom development

• Excellent communication skills - ability to interpret business SME requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Pro-active problem solver and friendly team player
• Ability to follow existing standards, but be flexible enough to create ad-hoc workarounds, if required

Responsibilities:

• Engage with the BI Team and other various stakeholders to understand requirements and outcomes.
• Developing the detailed project plan outlining steps, timeline, and resources to complete the Pilot and Migration plan.
• Work with Manager and Practice Lead to establish success criteria for report migration or development.
• Perform day to day activities such as facilitating scrums and creating appropriate tasks in DevOps for project resources.
• Plan and coordinate project resource activities into WorkDay
• Provide ongoing and regular status updates for BI Manager and other stakeholders.
• Maintain and manage a RAID backlog for project objectives and deliverables
