Our public sector client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to manage multiple national application development projects within the public sector.

Our client currently is currently working on one of the largest projects within their department focusing on their Internal information management system and strategic initiatives for natural resources. These systems include the development of several data management systems to effectively managing incoming data. This application has the ability to connect to their internal systems and synchronize data by uploading newly entered data, download codes, and the configuration of data.

Task; but not limited to:

• Coordinating other Project Managers or Coordinators assigned to deliver sub project(s) of a complex project, managed by the Directors.
• Effectively applying project management methodology(ies), using AGILE, and enforce department project processes and standards accordingly;
• Performing project planning, develop project charter and project management plans for all knowledge areas;
• Creating, executing and maintaining project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and project demands;
• Managing project issues and taking corrective action, as required, to deliver complete scope, at desired quality, in time and within budget for own project and suggest actions to guide and mentor other project managers;
• Proactively identifying project issues and risks and creating successful action plans for resolving issues and mitigating risks; minimizing project exposure and risk;
• Maintaining existing plans, PPM Office tools, procedures and systems in use within the PPM Office that are needed to manage and direct PPM Office development activities;

Must Haves:

• Secret Clearance
• 2+ Federal Government Projects
• 10+ year as a Project Manager
• Agile Experience

Nice To Have:

• PMP
• University Degree
• 2 + years working within an Azure DevOps Environment
