Description
Our public sector client requires a Reliability Cleared Senior QA Accessibility Tester to conduct accessibility testing of enterprise wide applications in the public sector. The resource will be strongly engaged with the manual accessibility testing of the project that can add real value to the team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Agile development team to test the system
- Screen reader user experience testing experience with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver
- Keyboard interaction accessibility requirements working experience and knowledge
- Understanding of ARIA roles and attributes
- Refine the automated testing results to eliminate false positives
- Mentor team on user interface design best practice and new WCAG 2.1, WET 4.0, HTML5 and Canada.ca standard.
Must Have:
- Experience with manual Accessibility testing
- Experience testing screen reader using NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 and EN 301 549 standards
Nice to have:
- Development background
