Our client is seeking an Intermediate to Senior Automation Developer to develop automation code and help establish an automation practice & frameworks for development and testing to develop in the utilities industry.

Calgary candidates for a 1 year contract, 3 days per week in office.

Must Have:

• 5+ years experience writing code for automation (Java, C#, Selenium etc.)
• Experience with Agile methodology and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with automated testing frameworks or automation practice
• Experience with GIT for version control
• Knowledge of testing practices & processes, or willingness to learn testing practices
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

Nice to Have:

• Python
• Certified Processional-Selenium Automation Testing (CP-SAT)

Responsibilities:

• This position will act as a liaison between development and testing teams to establish automation practices for development & testing
• 80% of your responsibilities will be writing automation code to convert already created manual test cases to automated test cases, as well as testing the development teams code.
• Ensure the quality and reliability of software applications by designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites
• Contribute to efficient testing processes, faster feedback cycles, and improved software delivery
