Our utility industry client is looking for a Senior SAP Solution Technical Architect to lead SAP ECC to S/4HANA conversion and upgrade initiatives. The role requires expertise in brownfield/technical conversion projects, solution architecture, and system upgrades across SAP landscapes.

Duration - 6 months

Work Mode - Onsite in Oakville

Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP ECC to S/4HANA conversion and S4-to-S4 upgrades, ensuring smooth technical transitions.
• Conduct readiness check report analysis, assess simplification items, and oversee pre/post-conversion activities including CVI and code remediations.
• Drive SAP system upgrades for SLT, MDG, and other critical systems.
• Assess the impact of conversion on key business areas: FICO, DTC, OTC, PTP, MDM, and Warehouse Operations.
• Collaborate with functional, technical, and Basis teams to create and execute a detailed conversion plan (Sandbox, Dev, QA environments).
• Implement and activate Fiori Apps and SAP Build Work Zone.
• Guide teams on simplification item remediations for both functional and technical streams.
• Perform code remediation analysis, process gap assessments, effort estimations, and support SOW writing, reviews, and client presentations.
• Provide expertise on SAP Utilities (Electricity/Water/Gas) implementations and conversions (preferred).

Must Haves:

• At least 2 SAP ECC to S/4HANA conversions (brownfield/technical) as a Solution Architect.
• Experience with pre/post-conversion activities, including CVI, simplification items, and code remediations.
• Hands-on experience with SAP upgrades (S4, SLT, MDG, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of business process impacts across FICO, DTC, OTC, PTP, MDM, and Warehouse Operations.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in SAP system conversion planning and execution.
• Proficiency in Fiori Apps activation and SAP Build Work Zone.
• Strong background in code remediation analysis, staffing estimation, and SOW documentation.
