Senior Scrum Master for an application migration to AWS and vendor management

Our large downstream energy client is seeking a Sr. Scrum Master for an application migration to AWS and vendor management starting ASAP for a contract until Dec 31, 2025 with chance of extension.

Candidate must come into the office downtown Calgary 5 days/week.

Must-Have:

• 8+ years combined of Project Management and Scrum Master experience in an enterprise organization
• Demonstrable experience with integration, scope, schedule, financial, quality, resources, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management
• Strong command of agile and scrum principles
• Experience working within a retail / wholesale / distributed network business domain (ideally wholesale)
• Management of integrated vendor delivery teams

Nice to Have:

• O&G Industry Experience
• Experience with AWS Applications
• PMP / CSM certification
• Experience with internal custom developed application projects related to retail, sales, or accounting
• Experience managing a Scrum of Scrums

Role Overview:

• This client is migrating/modernizing 6 applications. Moving them to AWS, upgrading DB versions, simplifying interfaces.
• A large portion of this project is delivered by a system integrator - they have their own PM/SM.
• You would be in charge of overall coordination of the various vendors and teams involved as well as Scrum master 1) Migration of one internal custom developed application and 2) All the DB migration work
