Our client is Canada’s largest retailer. They are looking for a Senior Security Analyst to lead SOC2 Type 2 audit compliance including analyzing controls, identifying gaps, and audit remediation activities.

Duration: 6 Months

Location: 4 days/week onsite - Brampton

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of the SOC2 compliance program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and security best practices.
• Review and analyze the SOC2 agreement, mapping the specified requirements to relevant security controls and frameworks.
• Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and business units, facilitating communication with key stakeholders.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of existing security controls, identifying gaps and areas of improvement for SOC2 compliance.
• Guide and support the implementation of corrective actions to remediate gaps, ensuring risk mitigation and compliance with SOC2 standards.
• Lead and manage SOC2 audit processes, providing expertise and oversight to ensure successful audit outcomes.

Must Have Skills:

• Experience leading SOC2 Type 2 assessments and audits.
• Experience identifying control gaps, assessing risks, and implementing remediation strategies.
• In-depth knowledge of AICPA Trust Criteria.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks (SOC2, NIST, ISO 27001)
