Senior ServiceNow Consultant to provide technical roadmap expertise and strategic solution design across the ServiceNow platform modules (15890)

Our large Oil & Gas client is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Consultant to provide technical roadmap expertise and strategic solution design across the ServiceNow platform modules.

This is an initial 1-year contract with a possibility of extension. The successful candidate will follow a hybrid working model in the heart of downtown Calgary (3 days in office/week).

Must-Haves:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Functional Consultant with proven experience implementing and managing various ServiceNow modules and major enhancements.
• Advanced understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and capabilities, features, configuration, workflows, business rules, and integration.
• Hands-on and proficient technical experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITAM, SPM, CMDB, CSDM, including development and deployment.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks.
• Proficiency in process mapping and workflow design.
• Proven ability to self-direct and drive strategic initiatives, leveraging deep ServiceNow expertise, leadership, and analytical thinking to deliver impactful results.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.

Nice-to-Haves:

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification
• Experience working with/ leading third-party vendors

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted advisor, providing expertise on ServiceNow platform capabilities, implementation strategies, best practices and governance.
• Design and configure ServiceNow solutions across various modules to address identified requirements.
• Configure ServiceNow applications, forms, workflows, and integrations.
• Perform functional analysis, solution design, and testing for ServiceNow implementations.
• Create detailed functional specifications and documentation for development teams.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement and automation using ServiceNow capabilities.
• Mentor team members on ServiceNow functionality and configuration.
