Description
Our valued client is actively seeking a Senior Snowflake and IICS Developer to support multiple ETL projects for the data migration of Oracle database to Snowflake.
7 month Contract - strong potential for extension. Work environment is hybrid (2 days onsite) in Montreal or Toronto.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for utilizing SnowSQL and Python scripting to assist in the migration process, demonstrating proactive, driven, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborate with the project team to understand requirements and objectives for migration of Oracle to Snowflake.
- Develop and implement Snowflake solutions, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures in Snowflake to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Create and maintain Python scripts to automate tasks related to data migration and processing.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise during the migration process.
Must-have Skills
- Snowflake database experience, scripting with SQL (ideally SnowSQL)
- IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services) development experience in ETL
- AWS cloud experience
Nice-to-have Skills
- Python
- French language skills
- CI/CD Pipeline
