Our client is looking for a Senior Technical Writer with OCM experience to support the project team on an IAM initiative in an enterprise environment.

Successful candidate will reside in Calgary, mainly working remote with the occasional onsite meeting

Must Haves:

• 7+ years' experience as a Technical Writer
• Experience in Organizational Change management
• Experience working with Change Advisory Boards (CAB)
• Previous experience working in IT, preferably Cyber Security (IAM)

Responsibilities:

Technical Writing: 70%

• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
• Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help, and guides.
• Create documentation to help end-users use a variety of applications.
• Create documentation for operational support teams.

Organizational Change Management: 30%

• Collaborate with the Change Advisory Board (CAB) to review and assess proposed changes, their impact on the organization, and ensure efficient and prompt handling of all changes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance.
• Support efforts to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization, and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI, and the achievement of results and outcomes.
• Assist in conducting impact analyses, assessing change readiness, and identifying key stakeholders.
