Our client is searching for a Senior Technology Specialist for the Fully Managed team to provide comprehensive support including a wide variety of day-to-day IT management, cybersecurity services, helpdesk response, digital transformation services, and technology strategy - 19238


6 months contract, high potential for renewal, Remote, 7.5 hrs per day


Must-have skills:


  • 10+ years experience in Level 2/Level 3 Technical Support experience in wide variety of hardware and software - eg Apple MDM (JAMF, Addigy, Meraki), RMM (Connectwise Automate, N-able and Datto-RMM) and Microsoft Ecosystem including Microsoft 365, Entra, Intune, and Active Directory.
  • Security Framework Knowledge: Experience working within and improving security frameworks & policies, including Principle of Least Privilege (PoLP) and SOC2.
  • Problem-Solving and Root Cause Analysis: Demonstrated ability to use problem-solving techniques to resolve issues and conduct root cause analysis.


Nice-to-have skills:


  • Azure and Windows Servers
  • IT Integration Experience: Experience in IT integrations, preferably in a managed service provider environment.
  • Business Analysis Skills: Experience in business analysis with a focus on information technology systems and processes.
  • Change Management Expertise: Understanding and experience of working with formal change management and rollback planning strategies and processes.


Responsibilities:


  • Drive consolidation and standardization through business analysis, technical assessment, planning, and execution of integration projects and tasks
  • Partner with internal team members to provide technical support, administration, and security of internal servers, SaaS and local applications, and networks
  • Collaborate with people within the Fully Managed and across the wider organization at all levels on projects relating to internal infrastructure and applications
  • Support systems, and people at all levels, in all locations, in their use of those systems, including support and security escalations, and project task execution
  • Develop, document, support, and follow best practice processes for implementation, configuration, administration, and security of environments including Microsoft 365, Entra, Intune, Azure, Active Directory, and Windows Server
  • Analyze environment escalations and issues to complete resolution including documented root cause analysis
  • Coordinate and partake in the collection of security audit evidence while managing sensitive and confidential information with integrity
  • Engage with IT vendors to build and maintain relationships, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.
