Description
Location: Hybrid - Downtown Toronto | 1 day onsite per week
Duration: 6-month contract with potential extension
Our banking client is seeking a Senior Angular Developer to support the Branch Technology Modernization team. The ideal candidate has strong front-end development experience using Angular and is comfortable working in a hybrid environment to modernize banking applications.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in front-end development with a focus on Angular (latest versions).
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of state management libraries (e.g., NgRx) and component-based architecture.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine/Karma.
- Experience in the banking/financial sector is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using Angular.
- Collaborate with back-end developers, UX designers, and stakeholders to implement new features.
- Ensure code quality and performance through best practices, testing, and optimization.
- Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies.
- Debug and resolve front-end issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
