Sr. Content Writer to support our banking client

Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Location: Hybrid (Tuesdays and Thursdays in DT Toronto)


Must haves:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Content Writer for enterprise clients (ideally banks or other FI)
  • Experienced user of Contentful, Bynder, Vidyard, Pardot.


Nice-to-have:

  • Bilingual - ENG-FR - strongly preferred


Key Responsibilities:


Content Creation and Publishing:

  • Ensure that content aligns with brand standards and guidelines.
  • Upload and manage media assets such as images, videos, and other multimedia.
  • Schedule and publish content across various platforms, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.


Content Formatting and SEO Optimization:

  • Structure content within Contentful using the Rich Text Editor (RTE) for optimal readability and accessibility.
  • Apply proper formatting to enhance user experience and optimize content for search engines (SEO).
  • Manage metadata by adding SEO titles, descriptions, tags, and other schema to enhance content visibility.


Content Workflow Management:

  • Manage content workflows, including drafting, reviewing, and publishing processes.
  • Collaborate with content owners and stakeholders to validate and refine content.
  • Handle triage requests and manage daily business-as-usual (BAU) tasks.


Content Management and Organization:

  • Maintain and organize the Contentful space, ensuring a well-structured content hierarchy.
  • Create and manage relationships between different content levels for seamless navigation and user experience.


Quality Assurance (QA):

  • Perform thorough quality checks for grammar, spelling, and stylistic consistency.
  • Ensure all media assets are correctly formatted and presented in the appropriate file types and dimensions.


Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Coordinate with UX designers, journey owners, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive content publishing process.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments.


Training, Support, and Documentation:

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Contentful, providing support and onboarding new users.
  • Troubleshoot content-related issues and provide ongoing support for content creation and management.
  • Continuously improve and update documentation for content authoring processes.
