Sr. Power BI Developer to extract and integrate sales data in Snowflake into Power BI

Our client is a leader in the pharmacy space. They are looking for a Sr. Power BI Developer to extract and integrate sales data in Snowflake into Power BI.

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Mississauga (2 days/week onsite)

Responsibilities:

• Designing Layouts & Configuring Charts: Create visually compelling and user-friendly Power BI dashboards, utilizing appropriate chart types, layout designs, and custom visualizations to enhance the sales data analysis.
• Writing DAX Measures & Time Intelligence Calculations: Develop and implement complex DAX measures and time-based calculations to transform raw data into valuable insights.
• Data Modeling in Power BI: Build and optimize Power BI data models to ensure efficient reporting and performance, working with Snowflake data sources.
• Utilize bookmarks, page navigation, slicers, and page-level filters to enhance user interactivity and provide flexibility for analysis.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure appropriate access control for sensitive data and provide secure reporting.
• Design and deliver dashboards showcasing specific table requirements to meet business needs.

Must Have Skills:

• Power BI Development, including advanced DAX, data modeling, and creating interactive dashboards.
• Experience integrating Snowflake (data source) into Power BI.
• Solid understanding of Row-Level Security (RLS) within Power BI.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience working with Sales and/or Performance Data
