Our public sector client is looking for a Sr. Project Manager to provide project management services for a system upgrade implementation and roll-out

Must haves:

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager
• Experience planning and executing projects with on-premise system upgrades and rollouts.
• Leading Agile delivery teams

Nice to Haves:

• Project Management certification is an asset.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizing the client’s methodology and processes for project activities and gates; creating and managing standard project management artifacts and activities as required, including project plan, budget, risk register, status reports, and others.
• Compliance with project governance, procedures and practices as directed by the Manager, including escalating unresolved issues.
• Managing the scope and execution of the implementation and testing activities based on the approved business case.
• Determine, in conjunction with the Information Privacy & Security department, whether an Information Privacy and Security Assessment (“IPSA”) is required, or if other compliance requirements exist, and if so, ensure that the IPSA or other compliance requirement is completed and delivered promptly to the Manager.
• Execute and support other project activities as needed.
