Sr. QA Lead for industrial/mining application testing, software vendor oversight, and UAT

Our large energy client is seeking a Sr. QA Lead for industrial/mining application testing, software vendor oversight, and UAT.

Location: Candidate must come into the office on a hybrid basis as required, approximately 2-3 days/week.

Must-Have:

• 8+ years experience within quality assurance
• 5+ years experience writing test scenarios
• 3+ years experience managing testing with a software vendor and holding them accountable to solve defects
• Field/Mining/industrial related experience either testing applications or coordinating UAT

Nice-to-Have:

• Understanding of Hexagon applications
• Exposure to the mining vehicle / mine safety systems terminology

Overview:

• Responsible for ensuring a solution or technology has been thoroughly tested to the standards set by both industry best practices and the operational owner(s).
• Work with various groups including vendor(s), operational owners and project delivery to complete deliverables required to achieve this level of quality.
• Highlight the defects and associated risks, facilitate sessions to resolve between the delivery, vendor and/or operational teams
