Our client is looking for a Technical Lead to lead our mainframe modernization discovery work.

6 month contract; hybrid model with 2days/onsite

Must Haves:

• 5+ years experience in a Technical Lead role
• Experience with mainframe technologies and a track record in delivering modernization strategies.
• Strong experience with mainframe technologies, including PL1, DB2, and JCL

Responsibilities:

• Lead the discovery phase for mainframe modernization.
• Collaborate with technical teams to define a high-level approach, including • requirements, scope, risks and timelines.
• Consult with IT leadership on a mainframe modernization strategy and relevant • tactics. • Ensure the alignment of modernization efforts with business objectives and • technology standards.

Deliverables:

• Impact assessment and related deliverables connected to Mainframe • modernization •
• High level roadmap to modernization
• Documented requirements for modernization including key inputs to • modernization decisions
• Related presentations to modernization approach
• Strong experience with mainframe technologies, including PL1, DB2, and JCL.
