The impact you will have:

As a Procurement Solutions Business Analyst, you will work with Softchoice’ customers and our IT and internal teams to determine the requirements for and then facilitate the development and testing of integrations between customers procurement systems and Softchoice’ ordering system.

What you’ll do:

  • Advise, strategize and educate Sales team and external customers about typical business-to-business procure-to-pay integrations and their advantages.
  • Requirements gathering and analysis with Softchoice’s customers and internal teams; management of integration-related configuration and process documentation for all parties.
  • Responsible to manage and deliver on all customer requested eprocurement projects; includes planning and prioritizing, risk identification, execution and deployment
  • Assist in negotiation for practical solutions as required.
  • Liaise with IT teams as required to implement system or mapping fixes or enhancements.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate procurement systems with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM) for seamless data flow and process automation
  • Keep projects on track, with both external and internal parties, with basic project management tactics; communicate status as required to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to test plan development and execution for each integration.
  • Work with sales teams and customers on change management as the solution is deployed.
  • Manage Softchoice’s user access and configurations in the procurement networks used by our customers.
  • Ongoing maintenance of existing integrations.
  • Support to Sales, AR, and customers as required.
  • Assist in issue resolution as required.
  • Communicate with procurement networks as required to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Maintain records of customer integrations.
  • Maintain integration presentations for Sales to use with customers.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma.
  • A solid knowledge of the business-to-business procure-to-pay cycle.
  • A solid knowledge of common integration mechanisms and high-level protocols.
  • 3+ years experience with Procurement Networks (e.g. Ariba, Coupa, etc.)
  • 3+ years experience with the software development cycle (requirements, design, build, QA, UAT, deploy)
  • Excellent communication skills, both presenting and listening.
  • Experience in communicating with customers external to the organization (sales or customer service or similar).
  • Problem solving skills and experience.
  • Negotiation skills and experience.
  • Ideally you are familiar with a wide variety of integration document formats such as EDI, TXT, CSV, PDF, tab delimited, XML, and JSON.
  • Ideally you are familiar with common data integration tools and terms such as AS2, API, FTP, HTTP.
