The impact you will have:

This role is responsible for leading and driving the design, analysis, insights, forecasting, and financial planning for various strategic initiatives at Softchoice. The Sr. Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving strategic decision-making by managing internal investments, analyzing strategic business initiatives, and developing long-term financial outlooks.

What you will do:

  • Financial Modeling: Build and maintain advanced financial models to analyze scenarios, forecast results, and drive insights for strategic planning.
  • Investment Management: Own the analysis and management of in-year and multi-year internal investments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Strategic Analysis: Lead comprehensive financial evaluations of various strategic initiatives across all areas of the business to support key decision-making processes.
  • P&L Management: Develop and maintain long-term outlooks on regional profit and loss statements to optimize capacity for future investments.
  • Presentation: Prepare and present comprehensive PowerPoint slides to effectively communicate complex financial insights in a simplified visual manner for an executive audience
  • Collaboration: Initiate, develop, and maintain effective relationships with key internal business partners to gather insights, validate assumptions, and align initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Problem-Solving: Tackle ambiguous tasks with a self-starter mindset, bringing clarity and actionable solutions to complex challenges.

What you will bring to the table:

  • Experience: 7+ years of finance experience and 4+ years of relevant progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a related field.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex financial data, uncover reasons for financial trends, and provide insightful financial analysis.
  • Technical Skills: Exceptional financial modeling skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal abilities to effectively present financial information.
  • Project Management: Capability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
  • Certification: CFA, MBA, or CPA designation is required.
