Provide theoretical and practical guidance to the Estevan Early Years Family Resource Centre to ensure the highest quality in early years family programming.
Foster early learning connections within communities in the southeast and especially with the Estevan Early Years Family Resource Centre.
Provide home visiting support to children 0-5 with diverse learning needs and their families.
Provide guidance and support to SECPSD Prekindergarten and Kindergarten programs.
Provide support for children 0-5 with diverse needs as they transition into the formal education system (supporting child, family, and teaching team).
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Education degree with at least five years of teaching experience in an early education environment. They will be an enthusiastic, organized and motivated team player possessing a strong knowledge of current early learning educational trends, with a proven track record of success as an educator focused on early learning. Preference will be given to candidates with strong theoretical and practical knowledge of early childhood development and research-based early learning practices.
The successful candidate will have a commitment to the ideals of public education as well as the mission, vision and guiding principles of the South East Cornerstone Public School Division.
Driving to rural communities within the south area of SECPSD to deliver quality early learning services will require the successful candidate to hold a Class 5 Driver’s license and, on occasion, to use their own personal vehicle.
