Hours of Work: 17.5 hrs. /week; 3.5 hrs. /day; Monday-Friday; Part Time, Temporary
Hourly Rate: $21.98 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement
Specific Needs/Requirements for this position:
Experience implementing positive behavior support plan strategies required
Experience implementing ILP and IPP goals
Verbal Intervention Training is an asset
Formal Post-Secondary training is preferred
Candidate must have strong skills in managing students’ behavior
Preferred candidates would have experience working with Division 1 & 2 students
Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team an asset
Experience working with students with various diverse learning and behavioural needs an asset
Experience with complex needs and autism is preferred
Experience with augmentative communication devices an asset
Verbal de-escalation training considered an asset
Experience with complex learning profiles
