Grade One Teacher

St.Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a full-time temporary teaching position at St. Anthony School in Drayton Valley, Alberta. This position will begin December 1, 2024 and end May 23, 2025. Ability to assist in the schools co-curricular and extra-curricular programs would be considered an asset. Possessing a certificate in Catholic Education from St. Joseph's College is an asset. The Town of Drayton Valley is located 90 minutes southwest of Edmonton, Alberta, three hours northwest of Calgary and 70 minutes from the Edmonton International Airport. Situated overlooking the North Saskatchewan River, the town offers a wonderful array of outdoor and indoor recreational activities. The town has a diversified economy including oil and gas, forestry, agriculture/ranching, environmental industries as well as trucking and construction. St. Anthony School serves approximately 370 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 8 in a Christ-centered environment and offers a wide-variety of extra-curricular activities.
