STAR Catholic seeks an experienced and visionary leader to drive excellence in teaching, learning, and leadership for the systemic implementation of curriculum and assessment. With a minimum of three years of successful experience as principal, the System Leader will provide strategic leadership in instructional excellence, oversee curriculum implementation, and ensure alignment with division priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Work collaboratively on the Division Assurance Process, including data analysis, planning and reporting.
Create and update division implementation plans related to the portfolio, and provide regular updates to Senior Administration.
Review and adapt the current reporting structures for grades 7-12.
Guide administrators in the supervision of PowerSchool for effective data management and reporting.
Support the integration of mental health and wellness best practices within instructional frameworks.
Support schools with Assistive technology and related professional learning.
Education: Master’s Degree in Education or related field.
Experience: Minimum of three years as a principal; experience in diverse school communities and K-12 settings is an asset.
Expertise: Proven ability to lead division-wide initiatives focused on innovation and instructional excellence.
Skills: Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

This position is a central office administrative role with the Board, offered as a fixed-term contract and designated as out-of-scope from the school division’s collective agreement for certificated teachers.
