Sales Associate

Immediate supervisors: Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager

Main objectives

Effectively assist the Manager and Assistant Manager to achieve company objectives in terms of sales, hours and profitability, according to company policies. Ensure that the image and standards of customer service are in accordance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Must adhere to work schedules as posted
• Timely and accurate completion of various jobs:
• Markings to be done according to deadlines set by the head office
• Red tags and tabs to be placed according to deadlines set by head office
• Postings to be placed according to current promotions and as directed by head office
• Must maintain a good team atmosphere
• Must receive, unpack and place merchandise in appropriate locations
• All other tasks as requested by the manager

Requirements

• Enjoy working with the public
• Good interpersonal skills
• Successful completion of high school
• Previous experience in the retail environment would be an asset
