Sturgeon Public School Division is seeking a reliable and skilled Transportation Assistant with excellent communication skills to join our Transportation Department at Sturgeon Public School Division Central Office.

The Transportation Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Transportation Manager with transportation-related tasks while utilizing a phone for communication purposes. Your primary role will be to support the transportation team and ensure smooth collaboration and communication during the start of the school year.

FTE : 1.0 FTE; 7.0 hrs/day; Monday to Friday; Full-Time Temporary

Qualifications & Experience

Communicate effectively via phone with parents/students/contractors and operators

Collaborate with the transportation team to optimize operations

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage time efficiently

Proficiency to problem solve and multi-task independently

A combination of education, knowledge, skills and abilities to formal education requirements will be considered.

The Sturgeon Public School Division offers a salary of $20.00/hour as per the General Employment Conditions.
