LUNCHTIME SUPERVISORS

Regular and Supply Positions

The Sudbury Catholic District School Board operates 17 schools across the City of Greater Sudbury and in the community of Killarney.

Various schools are currently hiring including: St. Charles School, Chelmsford, St. Benedict C.S.S., Bishop Alexander Carter C.S.S., St. Charles College, St Francis School and Pius XII School.

Regular shifts are during the lunch period, one hour per day and are scheduled Monday to Friday. Supply shifts are as needed to do replacement work; there is no guarantee of hours. Under the direction of the principal and/or vice principal, the Lunchtime Supervisor maintains order and discipline in designated areas within the school building and schoolyard. They may also assist with basic administrative duties, as assigned.

Required Qualifications/Skills/Abilities

• Ability to effectively communicate orally in English

• Ability to communicate and relate with people tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times

• Ability to contribute effectively to a team

• Ability to express a positive attitude and enthusiasm with students

• Ability to exercise good judgement, patience, self-control, and perseverance when dealing with students

• Ability to attend work on a regular and timely basis

• Physical requirements include frequent walking and standing, bending and manual dexterity

(Preference will be given to candidates that have previous experience working with children)

Salary is $21.27 hourly
