Support Clerk - Information Management Services

The Sudbury Catholic District School Board is located in Northeastern Ontario and serves approximately 6,800 students in 17 schools located in Greater Sudbury, as well as in Killarney. Our School Board is host to and celebrates diverse cultures and is comprised of dedicated staff committed to high quality education that inspires and promotes lifelong learning. The Board is currently seeking a Support Clerk - Information Management Services (IMS) to join our dynamic team.

The IMS Support Clerk is responsible for providing computer support/assistance to Board staff and primarily to the Catholic Education Center staff. He or she provides clerical support to the IMS manager and staff.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Minimum of one (1) year community college diploma in Office Administration, Administrative Assistant or in a related field ;

A minimum of one (1) years of recent related work experience.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Basic knowledge of Apple operating system (OSX) and Windows;

Strong knowledge of software licensing and copyright concepts and regulations;

Working knowledge of software and information technology (IT) practices;

Excellent interpersonal skills;

Superior skills in the use of various computer applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Office 365 Suite (including Word, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Cloud, DocuShare, Sparkrock, Internet, and email;

Ability to multi- task;

Good written and verbal communication skills;

Excellent discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality;

Ability to prioritize;

Excellent organizational and time management skills;

Ability to provide regular attendance.

The annual salary range for this position is $53,819.00 to $67,272.00 with a comprehensive benefit package.
