Administrative Assistant - Occupational Health and Safety - Regular Full-Time 2024-9441

Purpose of the Role:

Provide administrative support to daily operations of the Occupational Health & Safety Clinic (OHS) Clinic and staff COVID-19 testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete COVID paperwork for data entry

• Provide administrative support to Management

• Data entry Covid-19 testing and vaccination

• Assist with incident claims data entry

• Assist with Flu clinic during flu campaign

• Data entry and tracking for immunization campaigns

• Monitor compliance with COVID Immunization Policy testing

• Uploading documents to WSIB & link to Parklane

• Assist with filing as necessary

• Monitors service quality, and identify opportunities for improvement

Qualifications/Skills:

• College diploma or undergraduate degree

• Must be organized in approaching work tasks and able to prioritize effectively to deal with competing demands

• Must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Must be proficient in written and oral communication skills to support our requirement to read, edit and compose correspondence

• Must be very adept at exercising tact and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive and highly confidential issues

• Must be able to demonstrate flexibility as well as a comfort level with taking initiative on a wide range of issues

• Must be able to work independently with limited direction

• Good problem-solving skills and an ability to work as a team member

• Must demonstrate the ability to appropriately respond to changing circumstances
