Job responsibilities
• Adhere to the timeframes required by the studies.
• Perform and supervise general tasks according to the protocol or to the study conduct (e.g., vital signs, electrocardiograms, physiological data measurement, urine drug screens, dipsticks, pregnancy tests, meals distribution and monitoring, preparation of required supplies and equipment, etc.)
• Perform technical activities related to their field of expertise and/or related to specific trainings.
• Collect and processing of pharmacokinetic and diagnostic biological samples, prepare and dispense buffer solutions for special studies.
• Ships samples per laboratory schedule, temperature requirements.
• Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment’s, etc.)
• Orders and ensures that the supplies are available in sufficient quantity for the well conduct of activities.
• Offer a good quality customer service experience.
• May be assigned other clinical tasks.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for
Position in Canada
• College degree in science (biomedical analysis techniques, in medical laboratory, chemistry-biology or analytical chemistry or animal health).
• Bachelor’s Degree in science.

Position in US
• Certified Medical Laboratory Assistant (AMT)
• Certified Laboratory Technologist
• Relative alternate certification may be considered acceptable. This determination ensures the jobholder has sufficient technical ability to perform the role.
• Must demonstrate good computer skills especially in the utilization of Microsoft Word, Excel and Clinical software.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, both written and spoken, with an ability to inform, influence convince, and persuade.
• Experience in regulatory context will be considered an asset.

Position in Canada:
• English level: Required bilingualism includes understanding various messages, exchanging verbally on subjects related to the tasks to be executed, and writing simple messages.

Position in US:
• Spanish level: Required bilingualism includes understanding various messages, exchanging verbally on subjects related to the tasks to be executed, and writing simple messages.

Other (optional): Candidate who does not possess the required training and/or experience may be considered under different criteria.
