We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual who is passionate about automation, data engineering, and semiconductor technology to join our R&D team. This role focuses on automating integrated circuit (IC) design flows, optimizing data management, and enhancing workflow efficiency in analog/mixed-signal (AMS) design environments.

As an Analog Automation Engineer, you will collaborate with IC design teams to streamline design, simulation, and verification processes. A fundamental understanding of integrated circuits and semiconductor technology, along with experience using analog/mixed-signal CAD tools and programming in Python/Perl, is essential for success in this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with IC design engineers to identify bottlenecks and create automation solutions that improve productivity
  • Optimize design simulation, verification, and collateral generation through Python/Perl scripting and automation frameworks
  • Implement data engineering pipelines to process, clean, and analyze large datasets from IC design tools
  • Enhance data visualization and reporting to provide insights for design teams and management
  • Document automation workflows, database structures, and best practices for team collaboration and knowledge sharing

REQUIREMENTS:

  • MASc or BASc with 3+ years of analog and mixed-signal IC design experience
  • Strong Python programming skills with experience in workflow automation
  • Proficiency in SQL databases and data engineering concepts, including data extraction, transformation, and analysis
  • Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Strong communication and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
