Position Purpose: The Senior Insights Analyst role focuses on using data analytics to boost profitability, streamline operations, and enhance customer experiences. You'll collaborate with teams like Merchandising, Technology, and Finance to create solutions through automation and advanced analytics. This position builds your expertise in solving business problems with data-driven insights while honing your communication and continuous learning at both the technical and business level.

Solution Development 70%
Develop, test, and maintain standardized reporting methodologies for internal audiences across various levels.
Create supplemental reports to assist management in proactive problem-solving.
Deliver accurate reports and dashboards on-demand and at regular intervals (daily, weekly, quarterly, yearly).
Optimize existing reports for user-friendly formats.
Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements.
Gather business requirements to create metrics and dashboards that address organizational needs.
Design and develop algorithms/models for analyzing large datasets and extracting insights.
Offer thought leadership for implementing process improvements.
Lead special projects and handle ad-hoc assignments.
Provide status updates to managers and review boards on complex projects.
Execute tasks efficiently and with high quality.
Consult cross-functional teams on advanced analytical methods.
Gain knowledge of business areas to deliver better solutions.
Communicating Results 20%
Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audience
Support preparation of reports, updates and/or presentations related to progress made on a project or solution
Highlights potential impacts of recommendations to drive alignment and appropriate implementation
Technical Learning 10%
Keep up to date on industry trends, best practices and emerging methodologies
Continually develop skills and expertise in data analytics concepts and methodologies
Identify opportunities to apply learnings

Position reports to manager or above.
This position has no direct reports.
Typically does not require travel.
Minimum Requirements
3+ years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or relevant Analytics certification.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong computer skills.
Skilled in data querying (e.g., Google BigQuery, SQL) and data visualization (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Experienced in predictive modeling, data mining, and statistical techniques to solve business problems.
Knowledge of modern scripting languages (e.g., Python) an asset
Bilingual (English/French) an asset
Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and effective under pressure.
Strong analytical and communication skills, excelling in cross-functional collaboration.
Flexible and innovative in problem-solving with expertise in business analysis and financial modeling.
