Description
Assignment:
- Part-time 0.30 FTE Educational Assistant position
- Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings
- Working one-on-one with a student in Pre-Kindergarten
- Duties to commence May 5, 2025 and will continue for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year
Qualifications and/or Assets:
- Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant would be considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality
- Background and/or Experience working with children with diverse needs would be considered an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to be flexible in assigned duties
- Calm and patient approach to solving problems
- Reliability and eager to learn would be considered an asset
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-orientated learning environment
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion and patience
- Ability to work one on one with a student in an inclusive environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
