Assignment:
Full-time 1.0 FTE probationary teaching position
Course load to include grades 7-9:
Physical Education
Social Studies
Language Arts
Duties to commence August 28, 2024 and will continue for the remainder of the 204/2025 school year
Qualifications:
Experience working in relevant courses as mentioned above
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
Experience with Literacy and Numeracy intervention programs would be considered an asset
Willingness to work in an active, team-orientated learning environment
Ability to vary instructional strategies, and lesson design to meet individual needs
Effective classroom management
Strong planning and organizational skills
Calm and patient approach to solving problems
Commitment to ongoing professional growth
