Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Collections Specialist to join our world-class Accounting team in Canada. As a Collections Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring flawless financial operations and maintaining strong customer relationships. • Contact customers daily regarding payment either by phone or email
• Reconcile customer short payments
• Prepare monthly list for bad debt and Invoices not collectable
• Review daily reports to aid in the collection/reconciliation of accounts
• Update special terms spreadsheet as required
• Work well with other departments to resolve customer issues

• Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field required.
• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Able to collaborate effectively with others and work autonomously
• Proficient in Excel
• Ability to type efficiently
