2024 FALL NIGHT SCHOOL TEACHERS

LOCATIONS: John F. Ross CVI

RATE: $63.29 per hour

HOURS: Tuesday & Wednesday starting October 15, 2024 (6 hours/week)

FEDERATION AFFILIATION: While performing this position, you are a member of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation representing the District 18 Teachers’ Bargaining Unit. Union dues will apply.

COURSES:

• English, Grade 12, College and University Preparation (ENG4C, ENG4U)

• Biology, Grade 11, 12, College and University Preparation (SBI3C, SBI4C, SBI4U)

JOB SUMMARY:

Our Night School classes are offered through an approach that combines the benefits of face-to-face learning with the flexibility of an online learning environment.

Students will choose their preferred location to attend face-to-face once per week, and complete online tasks independently during the rest of the week. Teachers will work with students in Guelph on Tuesday evenings. In-class sessions run from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Virtual office hours on Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
