About Us
Windigo Education Board serves over 400 students across four First Nations communities. Our schools provide quality education rooted in land-based teachings, activities, and values that support student growth through collaboration between school, family, and community.
Key Responsibilities
The SERT will work closely with the principal and In-School Support Team to:
Develop and deliver specialized educational programs
Provide team consultation, communication, and liaison
Conduct student assessments
Qualifications
Bachelor of Education degree
Special Education qualifications
Member in good standing with Ontario College of Teachers (OCT)
Experience working with Indigenous students preferred
