Under the general direction of the Manager, Housekeeping and Laundry, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the SUPERVISOR HOUSEKEEPING is responsible for coordinating the daily Housekeeping operations within an assigned area over 9 facilities, including the Main Hospital, Asper, McEwen, Albrechtsen Research, Nursing Education Building, 400 Tache, Energy Centre, Laundry, Day Hospital and K Block. This includes supervising, training, providing orientation, carrying out performance appraisals, and monitoring the work performed to ensure that the quality and quantity of work are in accordance with established standards; and performing other related duties as assigned.
- Five (5) years of cleaning experience with at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity, preferably in an unionized environment.
- Experience overseeing and taking part in change management initiatives.
- Completion of courses or training in supervision, management or hospitality services required.
- Note: An equivalent combination of eucation and experience, as deemed recognized by the Hospital, may be considered in lieu of the above.

- Ability to interpret financial repots, understand and manage budgets.
- Must be able to handle highly stressed situations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, internet and email applications required.
- Physically capable of spending most of the shift traveling throughout the facilities.
