This is a full-time, 10-month term position in Clinical Support Services (CSS) located at Carpathia School.
CSS is responsible for providing clinical services in Clinical Reading, Speech Language Pathology, Audiology, School Psychology, and School Social Work to students, families and schools within the Division, and a number of independent schools.
Under the supervision of the Administrative Assistant and the direction of the Secretary to the Area Service Director (ASD), the clerk is responsible for providing secretarial and clerical support to the ASD. Providing clerical assistance for student clinical support activities; providing clerical assistance to clinicians; maintaining district clinician absence records; and other various tasks as required.
Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Provides clerical support to the Area Service Director and clinicians
Provides reception services
Provides clerical support in coordination of workshops and/or seminars
Provides clerical assistance with discipline assessment tools and intervention materials
Provides backup to District Area Secretary
Responsible for ordering materials and consumables
Dedication to anti-racism, equity, and diversity

Proven ability to build collaborated cultures founded on integrity and collective purpose
Performs other related duties
Qualifications:
Completion of secondary education with 1-2 years of office experience and relevant coursework/training
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel at intermediate level is required.
Accurate keyboarding of at least 40 words per minute
Experience with SDS, Document Management, Mayet, and Solar Winds an asset
Ability to prioritize a large workload and independently complete a variety of secretarial duties
Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
Demonstrated problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively contribute to a team environment
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
