Sr. Manager, Product Marketing

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Product Marketing to oversee the evolution and lifecycle of our Internet Services portfolio. They are responsible for the go-to-market strategy, ensuring our services are effectively promoted and adopted across rural and lesser-served parts of Canada. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this position requires a self-starter who excels in a dynamic environment, has a strong sense of ownership, and is excited to key contributor in to an exciting and collaborative work environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develops and implements marketing strategies to promote our products
• Conducts competitor analysis and market research to inform marketing plans
• Product Positioning: Shapes the product's communication and positioning in the market
• Sales Enablement: Creates sales tools and materials to support the sales team
• Product Launches: Plans and executes product launches
• Performance Metrics: Monitors and analyzes marketing performance metrics to adjust strategies
• Manage the transition from legacy platforms to newer technology ensuring existing customers have ample time to migrate to upgraded Internet service and working with operational teams to ultimately decommission legacy networks and technology
• Collaborate closely with network engineering, sales, marketing, legal, finance, supply chain, and customer service teams to align product strategies with company goals
• Work with cross-functional team to inform pricing strategies and business cases for new products and services
• Develop and manage our Internet products product specifications and service definition

The ideal candidate will possess:

• B.A. in Business, Commerce or Marketing
• Understanding of Canadian Internet and the telecommunications market
• Strong experience and skillset with customer lifecycle mapping and its application
• Expert-level Excel; high capability in PowerPoint; comfortable in Word, and Power BI
• Minimum 5 years Product management experience within Telecommunications
• Minimum 5 years project management requirements-setting experience; including budgeting, planning, and time-management.
• Minimum 3 years leadership experience in motivating cross-functional departments to achieve high levels of success and productivity.
• Experience working directly with teams setting and executing on product development requirements
• Experience garnering buy-in from all levels of a large organization including senior leadership by leveraging your strong storytelling, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders that enable the successful co-creation of initiatives that yield positive outcomes to the business
• Excellent attention to detail with an ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and programs efficiently
