Yellowhead Koinonia Christian School (YKCS) , located in Edson, Alberta, is currently seeking a dedicated part-time Primary Music teacher to join our dynamic team for the 2024/25 school year. As a Christian school with approximately 160 students, we foster a supportive and academically stimulating environment for both students and staff.
YKCS is currently accepting applications for a part-time music teacher or music facilitator , commencing as soon as possible.
Specific qualifications include:
AB Teaching Certificate preferred
BA Degree in Education (or equivalent) preferred
Experience with kids and music
Clear understanding of Christian Education
Characteristics of the successful applicant include:
A deep understanding of the Christian- and Biblical-worldview
Relational with a strong desire to connect with students
Excited to work in a team environment
Having a friendly, even-tempered, and servant-hearted attitude toward staff, parents, and students
Being teachable and a quick learner
