Schedule:
Immediately - February 21, 2025 - 50% - working Mornings - Monday to Friday
February 24, 2025 - March 7, 2025 - 40% - working Mornings - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
March 17, 2025 - March 28, 2025 - 30% - working Mornings - Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
March 31, 2025 - April 11, 2025 - 20% - working Mornings - Tuesday, Thursday
April 14, 2025 open ended - 10% - - working Mornings Thursday

Effective: Immediately to Open Ended
For the 2024/25 school year, Itinerant Physical Education Teachers will provide Physical Education to Grades K - 6, as well as Health, Dance, and Drama activities for the Early Learning Full-Day Kindergarten program. For schools with French Immersion, the Physical Education Teachers will provide Physical Education, Religion, and Family Life to the Grades 1 - 3 French Immersion classes, as well as Family Life to the Grades 4 - 8 classes. Some of the French Immersion schools also have the Kindergarten program.
The Successful Candidate Will:- Provide Health and Physical Education to Grades K - 8 classes
- Provide Health/Drama/Dance/DPA to early Learning Full Day Kindergarten
- Provide Physical Education, Religion, and Family Life to the French Immersion Grades 1 - 3 classes, and Family Life to the Grades 4 - 8 French Immersion classes
- Implement HPE Ministry expectations
- Assess and evaluate student progress utilizing the OPHEA teacher supports
- Primary/Junior or Junior/Intermediate Division Qualifications or Physical Education Part 1, Part 2, or Specialist
- Degree in applicable Discipline/Specialty
- Experience with Primary Daily Physical Activity Resources and Health Schools Framework
