The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is responsible for analyzing data and defining requirements for technology solutions in projects or products. The role requires taking an unstructured business problem and produce and present clear, fact-based recommendations to the business partners, and ease their transition towards implementation. The recommendation could include an organizational structure, a people training, a process change, and modifications to business rules or implementation of new technology, or a combination of all.

WORK YOU’LL DO

The BSA will utilize broad business and technology to recommend and implement solutions which address business needs.

  • Demonstrated ability to elicit, document, prioritize and define business needs and requirements in complex scenarios and/or enterprise analysis (multiple stakeholders across departments, unstandardized or undocumented processes, multiple systems, inter-related initiatives, etc.)

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with and influence all levels of management

  • Demonstrated leadership skills

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Structured and organized

  • Understanding of project management lifecycle, practices and methodologies

  • Excellent Microsoft tools knowledge (ex. Excel, Power Point, Visio, Word)
