As a Client Success Relationship Manager, you’ll serve as an advocate of ADP’s Global Human Capital Management Solution and Service capabilities, while driving ADP’s message as a world leader in the HCM industry into the client base. The role supports ADP Canada’s ADP® Comprehensive Services - Majors level clients.

Every day, you will work on developing and managing strong, productive relationships with executive-level client contacts i.e.; CFO, CHRO). You will align with ADP General Managers and Executive Committee members as required, and collaborate with ADP Sales, Service and Implementation teams and any other functional team as required in order to win new clients and influence additional business in existing clients in adherence with targets established annually.

To thrive in this role, you must have a strong combination of account management / relationship-building skills and business/financial acumen. Success in this role can be defined by year-over-year increases in metrics related to client satisfaction indexes, client retention rates, exceptional relationship management client survey results, targeted revenue growth and share of wallet per client.

What you’ll do: Responsibilities

What you can expect on a typical day:

  • Client Focus
  • You’ll effectively manage the client relationship for ADP’s complex clients both domestic and North America.
  • Your primary responsibilities will be Retention, Referencability, and Revenue.
  • You’ll cultivate a trusted advisor relationship with clients to influence a propensity to partner with ADP.
  • You’ll recognize what actions will demonstrate exemplary partnership to their client base, by incorporating a deep understanding of the client needs with appropriate ADP solutions and expertise.
  • You’ll oversee and support effective and mutually beneficial contract negotiations and understand financial impact.
  • You’ll ensure appropriate utilization and consistent execution of tools, communications, processes, client retention activities, and metrics.
  • You’ll maintain a sufficient client assignment base while looking for opportunities to enhance and increase coverage.

  • Client Communication
  • You’ll demonstrate strong presentation, meeting management and relationship management/servicing skills.
  • You are confident in the ability to challenge the current state and make a compelling case for change.
  • You’ll lead and drive continuous improvement and operate with flexibility.
  • You have a significant understanding of Human Capital Management concepts with the ability to represent a broad range of ADP disciplines and solution platforms.
  • You have a comprehensive industry and competitive knowledge with an external network of expertise.
  • You carry exceptional verbal and written communication skills - to be applied equally with external audiences and internal constituencies.
  • You’ll facilitate and encourage client participation in ADP events as appropriate,
    i.e. MOTM, ReThink, Beta Product opportunities, and testimonials).

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive career experience with demonstrated proficiency in managing a diverse roster of complex client account relationships, ideally in SaaS the technology and outsourcing industry. HCM and payroll Technology experience is an asset.
  • Extensive experience building relationships with clients is essential.
  • Advanced MS Word and Excel software capabilities
  • English/French Bilingualism is Mandatory

*Quebec candidates: While French is required for Quebec-based roles, use of the English language is also required due to the global nature of the business and the need to interact with ADP’s headquarters and international sites.

Bonus points for these: Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree or Equivalent Or, its equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance or another related field
  • Accreditation from appropriate organizations CPP, CEBS, PHR) is an asset.
