You are someone who:

  • Oversight of Accounts Payable activities within a project which includes financial reporting and treasury functions in coordination with the Shared Services group.
  • Setup & manage all treasury functions of the project.
  • Assist in the preparation of project cash flows and other requested reports,
  • Actively manage cash for the project. Close review to confirm paid when paid structure.
  • Develop, implement & manage adequate internal control procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal and external audits.
  • Corporate Credit Cards management and processing.
  • AP Management, to ensure timely payments.
  • Holdback Release analysis and control.
  • Develop and issue KPIs to manage AP process.
  • Follow up Aconexs approval comments, to get approvals for payments.
  • Subcontracts invoices review for compliance with contract terms and required documentation.
  • Ensure that LOA approvals are complete and follow up LOA.
  • Enhance finance processes to achieve financial goals and improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Supervise, mentor and develop of project AP Team.
  • Support preparation of financial presentations & analyses for the leadership team.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analyses (including what-if scenario analysis) as required to support business partners.
  • Liaise with Partners finance groups to request and process billings for staff, expenses, overheads etc. and ensure the accuracy of the information being processed
  • Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging.

You bring:

  • 7+ years of professional finance experience, preferably in the Construction industry.
  • Degree in Accounting or Business Management desirable
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, etc.
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Strong knowledge of financial management is required.
  • Ability to interact with colleagues in a self-managed team structure.
  • Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
