BY JOINING OUR TEAM, YOU WILL PARTICULARLY:

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the QA Inspector is a key contributing member of the Quality team. The QA Inspector is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, inspecting and testing Final medical devices. This person could also be assigned on Design Teams as a QA Representative to guide the design Teams in respecting design standards. Could also be responsible for inventory control. Ensuring the smooth running of all operations activities in line with ISO 13485, FDA, GMPs, CE mark such as the following tasks.

* Perform incoming inspection on received components and materials.
* Determine the appropriate sample size.
* Execute the final inspection of medical devices in the cleanroom after the product has been fully assembled and prior to packaging.
* Proceed to dimensional measurements, perform visual inspection and functional tests according to work instructions and specifications to ensure all acceptance criteria are met.
* Ensure that inspection results are properly recorded and that products that do not pass inspection are properly identified, segregated, and communicated to the support team.
* Document the inspection results and thoroughly review documentation.

Requested skills

REQUIRED EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES

  • Technical diploma and/or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position in the industry.
  • Knowledge of quality and conformity systems.
  • Capable of detecting nonconformities while performing inspections.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in an autonomously manner.
  • Highly detail oriented, quality focused and meticulous individual.
  • Excellent time management skills, adaptable and able to work under pressure.
  • Motivated and hardworking.
  • Ability to make product judgements against applicable specifications.
  • Ability to utilize attribute and variable measuring equipment/gauges.
  • Ability to be flexible by performing different tasks based on the needs.
  • Ability to work in a controlled environment.
  • Good documentation skills to maintain neat and accurate records.
  • Ability to work in independently and in a team setting.
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and blueprint interpretation is an asset.
  • Advanced level of oral and written French.
  • Advanced level of English, to interact with customers and suppliers who are mainly international. To comply with international industry standards.
