Location: Montreal or Toronto

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing - Partnerships, Air Canada Rouge & ESG, the Manager, Marketing - Partnerships, Air Canada Rouge & ESG is responsible for the ideation, development, implementation of marketing communications and promotional campaigns to support Air Canada's brand partnerships, Air Canada Rouge, ESG efforts which includes Air Canada's corporate sustainability initiatives and the Air Canada Foundation.

Responsabilities:
  • Develop and oversee all Air Canada marketing campaigns and activity that support and promote Air Canada's key brand and airline partnerships ranging from third-party partner brands that align to Air Canada's commercial objectives to our international airline partners. Support in cultivating, evaluating and managing these partnerships from a marketing perspective.
  • Develop and oversee all Air Canada marketing campaigns that support and promote the Air Canada Rouge brand and product offering
  • Develop and oversee all Air Canada marketing campaigns that support our corporate sustainability efforts and Air Canada's Climate Action Plan including but not limited to the Leave Less Travel Program, the purchase of carbon offsets, community and industry programs, etc.
  • Develop and oversee all Air Canada marketing campaigns that support and raise awareness for the Air Canada Foundation including but not limited to the Every Bit Counts program, the Wings of Courage program, the donation of Aeroplan points to enable our Hospital Transportation Program, etc.
  • Oversee multi-channel media campaigns that may include, but are not limited to, owned channel placements, organic social media, paid media, email, partner channel, in-airport, broadcast, print, OOH, etc.
  • Craft integrated marketing communications campaigns ranging from brand storytelling to retail promotional activities
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and act as a subject-matter expert and consultant to business units
  • Develop strong, cross-functional, cooperative working relationships with external partners and other branches impacted by marketing activities (Web Team, Product Design, Corporate Communications, etc.).
  • Accountable for identifying KPIs, benchmarking and reporting measurement to demonstrate and optimize ROI of marketing activities
  • Review analysis and report on all marketing activities and results to senior management team
  • Manage the relationship with external service providers and agencies, overseeing projects (ensuring project are delivered on time and on budget), billing, contract negotiations, etc.
  • Establish priorities of all tasks and allocate appropriate resources to maximize investment
  • Work closely with the Marketing Analytics and Market Research teams to analyze and continually improve upon marketing communications campaigns
  • Supervise direct report(s) as assigned
  • Ensure brand identity and guidelines are respected, in collaboration with the Brand strategy and Brand design teams
  • Develop yearly campaign calendars
  • Other projects/duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • University degree in Business, Marketing or Communications option or equivalent
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Bilingual - Fluent in both French and English an asset
  • Strong strategic planning, leadership, analysis and innovation skills
  • Superior decision making skills
  • Proficiency in analytics and research
  • Comfort and ease with matrix organization
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and aptitude to motivate and engage
  • Comfortable working independently and within a team environment assisting colleagues whenever possible
  • Leadership in team building
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high stress environment
  • High levels of ingenuity, creativity and initiative
  • Practical knowledge of digital mediums including internet and social media channels
  • Loyalty and/or ESG marketing experience an asset
  • Experience working with agencies
